Okay this isn’t really James Bond’s old Aston Martin, it may look familiar, but two things – firstly 007’s Aston is a DB5, this is a DB6, and secondly this one is electric. Although to be fair, it’s makers, Lunaz Design are offering electrified versions of the DB5 as well, although prepare for price tag on these restored, reengineered and electrified classics to be well north of $1m.

The electrification programme is overseen by a Design Director from Aston Martin Q-Branch and an Engineering Director who has worked across James Bond project vehicles. The brakes, steering and suspension are all uprated and modernised and the interior gets the latest tech, infotainment and connectivity. The company has previously done the same to classic Bentleys and Rolls-Royce motorcars at its Silverstone home. Incidentally, football icon David Beckham is an investor in Lunaz
