Mahmuda Islam, a BSc (Hons) Ophthalmic Dispensing graduate, captivated the audience with her exceptional academic performance and unwavering dedication to her chosen field. “Receiving this award is an extraordinary achievement, a testament to years of dedication, perseverance, and an insatiable thirst for knowledge,” expressed Mahmuda. Her passion for her chosen profession shone through, inspiring fellow graduates and guests alike.

Frazer Ormondroyd, a BA (Hons) Counselling & Psychology in Community Settings graduate, epitomized the spirit of academic excellence and humanitarian compassion. His outstanding academic achievements, coupled with his unwavering commitment to helping others, resonated with the audience. “Recognition from the Principal’s Award is a humbling experience, reaffirming my belief that education can be a transformative force for the betterment of society,” Frazer shared.

Chelsea Brown, a BA (Hons) Business Management & Entrepreneurship graduate, embodied the essence of resilience and unwavering determination. Despite facing significant personal challenges, Chelsea persevered, demonstrating the power of grit and unwavering focus. “Overcoming obstacles has fueled my passion for success, teaching me that anything is achievable with determination and perseverance,” Chelsea remarked. Olivia Shaw, a BA (Hons) Youth Work & Community Development graduate, balanced ambition and family responsibilities with remarkable grace and dedication. Juggling parenting, college, and work placements, Olivia exemplified the power of resilience and the transformative impact of education. “My journey has been a testament to the importance of balancing personal and professional goals,” Olivia shared. Her story resonated with many, highlighting the challenges and triumphs of modern life.

The afternoon ceremony celebrated graduates from the Margaret McMillan School of Education and School of Social Care & Community Practice.
