Promotion and New Role for Blackburn University Graduate Eram after First Class Honours

Student Eram Latif has received a promotion and a new role at work after graduating from Blackburn University Centre with First Class Honours.
Eram, who studied the Lancaster University awarded BSc (Hons) Psychology, worked as a Team Leader at BT while studying.
Since graduating, not only has she been promoted to Senior Team Leader, she has been given the role of Wellbeing Lead at the large organisation.
She now supports agents and staff with any mental health issues they may have and promotes positive mental health throughout the workplace.
Eram, 42 from Blackburn, said: “I chose to study at Blackburn University Centre because of the enhanced support from tutors and staff members due to the smaller class sizes. Also, the location of the campus was local to me and close to my home.
“What have I enjoyed about my course? Absolutely everything! I love Psychology and feel like I understand the human mind and human behaviour so much better after completing my Degree at Blackburn University Centre.
“I have also enjoyed working with the staff and the positive engagement between myself and my peers and classmates.”
She added: “My tutors have fully supported me to achieve my goals by providing lots of advice and guidance. Blackburn University Centre has helped shape and prepare me for my future career by helping me get involved in beneficial local projects and voluntary work at relevant organisations.”
